Despite their 5-0 record and their video game scores, I’m not convinced about the Mean Green. They’ve beaten Lamar, W Mich, Wash St, Army, and S Alabama. The Broncos had the best scoring defense of the group at #39, and they beat them by 3, and they beat Army by 7, giving up 38 to the Black Knights. This will be the best offense they’ve faced by far, while the Bulls have already held Boise to 7 and Florida on the road to 16. I think S Fla is a level above N Texas, and they prove it tonight. Usually, I like playing the ML with short favorites, but the ML is -108 on both sides, so I’ll pay the six cents for the extra 1.5 points.
