Take #183 Ohio State Over Illinois

This Ohio State defense has been lights out, allowing just 7, 0, 9, 6, and 3 points across their first five games. Sure, they haven’t faced an elite offense yet, but Illinois brings a solid attack to the table. After getting blown out 63-10 by Indiana, the Illini bounced back with 34 vs. USC and 43 vs. Purdue, proving they can move the ball. Still, this is easily the toughest defense they’ll see all year.

Offensively, the Buckeyes are rolling with 450 yards per game and a balanced attack that racks up 171 yards on the ground. Illinois simply doesn’t have the personnel to match up. Expect Ohio State to wear them down and pull away in the second half for a comfortable win.
