DIONNE’S FREE WNBA WINNER: Phoenix Mercury
The Phoenix Mercury have had their way with the Chicago Sky, taking six straight meetings against them, which does include all three meetings this season, covering the spread in five of those six games. Phoenix is coming off back-to-back wins over Golden State and Los Angeles, giving them their seventh win in 10 games, going 6-3-1 ATS. Chicago on the other hand, has lost two in a row and seven of their last eight. This is a team that is also pointspread poison, failing to cover the number in 13 of their last 17 games. The Sky also possess the worst offense in all of the WNBA, averaging just 75.9 PPG, while owning the 11th worst defense, giving up 86.2 PPG. Phoenix is also better at home (12-6), than Chicago is on the road (4-13). I’ll lay the points with the Mercury.
