Despite a recent 108-106 double-overtime loss to the Sparks, the Storm (16-12, 8-6 at home) should have plenty left fueled by Nneka Ogwumike’s (37 points, 12 rebounds last game, 18.1 PPG season).
The Storm’s defense, allowing 78.6 PPG (3rd in WNBA), will stifle an Indiana offense missing Caitlin Clark (out with a groin injury).
The Fever (16-12, 7-6 on the road) rely heavily on Kelsey Mitchell (19.9 PPG) and Aliyah Boston (double-digit rebounds in five straight), but their 43.2% defensive FG% struggles against Seattle’s 44.5% shooting.
The Storm’s backcourt, led by Skylar Diggins-Smith (17 PPG, 5.9 APG), and Gabby Williams’ playmaking (7-8 assists in three of last five) will exploit Indiana’s depleted lineup.
Seattle’s 1-3 home stretch adds urgency, and after a 94-86 loss to Indiana in June, the Storm will be motivated for revenge at home, making them a strong wager.
