DIONNE D’AMICO’S WEDNESDAY’S FREE MLB WINNER: Texas Rangers on the money line
Los Angeles took Game 1 of this series 4-0, ending their three-game losing streak. Then Texas took Game 2 yesterday 7-3, giving them their fourth win in five games. Today the Angels send Jack Kochanowicz to the mound, who is just 3-10, with a 6.19 ERA, going 0-1, with a 7.24 ERA over his last three starts. In five career appearances (all starts) against Texas, the RH is winless at 0-4, with a 6.48 ERA. And in three appearances this season against them, he’s 0-2, with a whopping 9.00 ERA. The Rangers will counter with Jacob Latz, who is 1-0, with a 3.05 ERA. And in three career relief appearances against Los Angeles, the LH sports a 1.35 ERA. Texas is playing the better ball, and has a more reliable pitcher on the mound. I take the Rangers here.
