At some point the Rangers are going to score a goal at home. So far they’ve played three home contests and have yet to score! But the buy sign for me is on the Rangers after they scored three goals in the third period to beat the Canadians, 4-3, at Montreal this past Saturday.
Minnesota has its own offensive problems. The Wild have scored only four goals in their last three games, all losses. Minnesota has managed just four goals in six games when at even strength this season. The Wild also are carrying a heavy fatigue rating as this is their third road game in four days.
The Rangers give up the fewest goals per game at 1.5. Reliable goalie Igor Shesterkin is projected to be in net. Adam Fox is one of the better defensemen in the league and New York ranks seventh in killing off power plays.
Under in this game also makes plenty of sense. But my top read is to go with the Rangers.
