Unless they return a kickoff and a punt for a TD again, it’s hard to see where where the points are going to come from for the Jets. They want to run the ball, but The Pats defense is 4th in the league, allowing just 3.8 ypc. Well, why don’t they throw the ball? Well, maybe because the Jets are 28th in ypa, behind only Cle, Car, Ten, and Den. That is not a great neighborhood to be in. Add in a NE defense that has surrendered just 208.2 pa ypg in their L8 games. The Jets defense isn’t awful, they’re at least better than their offense, but they’re eventually going to get worn down by spending too much time on he field. Another boring Thursday night game is likely coming down the pike tonight.
