The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a bye week which followed a pair of impressive wins against Minnesota and the NY Giants and they bolstered their team with a few additions on both sides of the football at the trade deadline this past week so this is without question a loaded roster at the moment. Having said all that, I am going to put my $$ behind the Green Bay Packers tonight at Lambeau Field coming off a truly horrific performance losing outright as double digit favorites last week against the Carolina Panthers. This has been a season of highs and lows for Green Bay but remember this Packers team was good enough to win in blowout fashion against the defending NFC North champion Detroit Lions on this field back in Week 1. The Packers will miss TE Tucker Kraft in the passing game but QB Jordan Love is clearly capable of better than he showed last week against Carolina and for me the Eagles last two wins against a Vikings team led by Carson Wentz at QB when they played and the NY Giants who have collapsed since blowing that game to the Denver Broncos a few weeks ago are not bulletproof signs of a Philadelphia resurgence for me just yet. Green Bay with head coach Matt LaFleur is 11-4 ATS 73% in their last 15 tries when playing at home and coming off a loss. I like the near pick ’em price here with Green Bay in a spot where we should get an ‘A’ level of focus from them after a terrible game last week. I’m on the Green Bay Packers to bounce back here tonight.
