Washington QB Jayden Daniels and WR Terry McLaurin have been ruled out of this game and they also have other injuries on both sides of the football as well. Atlanta is coming off a truly embarrassing 30-0 shutout loss at Carolina last week but let’s not forget they were good enough to control the flow and dominate Minnesota on the road the previous week. I also expect Marcus Mariota to regress at QB for Washington. He played a good game against Las Vegas last week at home but that was his first start which often lends to a good performance and the team rallies around the QB change and that was also against a weaker stop unit. Mariota is now going on the road against a better defense this week which should be a more difficult challenge for him. Washington’s run defense has been solid so far but have yet to face the kind of ground game the duo of RB’s Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier will throw at them as the Falcons are averaging 139.3 yards per game and 4.6 yards per carry on the ground this season. I think this is a great ‘buy low’ bounce back spot for the Atlanta Falcons against a Washington team that is depleted right now.
