The best big game hunter on the planet comes in with another big game winner for you today. Maybe they are not competing for a National Championship, but still, PENN STATE/MICHIGAN STATE is a big game. And I have the winner.
Both teams have significantly underachieved this season possessing exact records of 3-6. Believe it or not, Penn State was ranked number two in the country in the preseason poles. After winning their first three games, they haven’t won a game since. One thing I will tell you, their last four contests have been very competitive, including the last three which were all against superior opponents. Michigan State has been covering, going five-1 ATS their last six outings. But I have a funny feeling they’re in for a rude awakening here, as the visitor is taking this game very seriously. You see, the Nittany Lions are one of the most praised teams historically in college football. They have games remaining following this week, at home against the Cornhuskers, then on the road at the Scarlet Knights. If they can win out, not only do they become bowl-eligible, but they will give their very loyal fan based something to be excited about. Their defense, has played very well most of the season. It’s just a little overworked. The stop-unit will completely shut down the home teams offense here, and allow their own offense to move the chains. Take Penn State. Thank you.
