NCAAF FREE PLAY (231) TCU vs. (232) UNC
Returning Horned Frogs head coach, Sonny Dykes stands across the field from 8X Super Bowl Champion (6X as a head coach, 2X as an assistant coach) Bill Belichick. Dykes’ Horned Frogs finished last season winning and covering their final four games. They bring back sophomore quarterback, Josh Hoover, who threw for nearly 4,000 yards in 2017 TD’s a season ago. He has a talented bunch around him, despite losing a couple of his top receivers. For the Tar Heels, Belichick brought in Sunbelt gunslinging quarterback, Gio Lopez. There are also a lot of new faces on the North Carolina roster. Reports are there is a ton of talent on this squad. Without question, both teams can score points, and light up the scoreboard. Also, without question, both teams on the defensive side of the ball, need improvement from last season. But, on the first contest for both squads of the 2025/2026 campaign, it is shaping up to look like a high-scoring affair. I feel this game will be a barnburner, so much so they might need to change the lightbulbs in the scoreboard after the game. TCU must come out and make a statement that they are the same team here that finished last season strong, while Belichick and his boys, must come out and prove that it wasn’t Tom Brady that gave him all those championships. Take the over. Thank you.
