I don’t trust either starting pitcher in this matchup tonight between the Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals. Chase Dollander is making his return to the Colorado rotation for his first start in months. He was not very sharp or effective in his first tenure in the rotation notching a 6.68 ERA in 15 starts over 68.2 innings before his recent demotion. Colorado’s bullpen is equally as bad and the Rockies as a team have surrendered 5+ runs in 10 straight games. Miles Mikolas for St. Louis is coming off a start where he was hammered for 5 runs on 7 hits in 3 innings against the LA Dodgers. Mikolas has struggled with Colorado in the past allowing 19 runs in 12.2 innings against the Rockies in his career. Colorado enters this game on 8-2 Over run in their last 10 games and I expect another Over cash tonight in this game.
