Look for a Phillies hangover today after Philadelphia clinched a first-round playoff bye with an 11-1 victory over the Marlins on Wednesday night.
I have little to no confidence in Phillies starter Walker Buehler, who the Red Sox gave up on this season. Buehler has a 5.13 ERA and 1.53 WHIP.
Despite last night’s loss, the Marlins have been red-hot winning 11 of their last 13 games. They are going to pitch Janson Junk, who is better than his last name may imply with a 6-3 record, 4.27 ERA and 1.14 WHIP.
Junk has the element of surprise on his side as the Phillies have never faced him.
