This is a play on the PITTSBURGH PIRATES for our Thursday Free Play. The Dodgers continue to struggle on the road as they have lost nine of their last 12 and are two games under .500 heading into Thursday and are down 19.3 units showing how overvalued they have been. This is a problem since they are eight games behind the Brewers for the best record in the National League. Blake Snell is going to be a huge part of the Dodgers postseason rotation and he will be fresh as long as he can remain healthy. He made two early starts before going on the IL for four months because of a shoulder injury and he has made five starts since coming back for a 2.54 ERA. He has made only two road starts, posting a 3.75 ERA which is still good but not compared to his 1.78 ERA at home. The Pirates have won the first two games of this series and while it has been a tough season once again, it is due to the third worst road record in baseball but at home they are 41-30 +11.4 units so there is value and especially in this spot. We do not get Skenes at home plus money often so we have to take advantage when we can and here he is at plus money. In 13 home starts, he has a 1.65 ERA and 0.85 WHIP with an 85:14 K:BB ratio with the Pirates going 9-4 including seven straight wins.
