This is a play on the ATHLETICS for our Friday Free Play. The Angels are coming off a respectable 5-5 roadtrip and are back home where they are one game under .500 and are laying a big number tonight. They are well out of the playoff race so this is a sell high team in certain spots and this is one of those. We played on Jose Soriano in his last start and he pitched a gem in Houston, allowing no runs on one hit over seven innings. We backed him because he was on the road where he has been great with a 2.47 ERA and 1.19 WHIP in 14 starts but now he is back home and reverse splits come into play as he has a 5.11 ERA and 1.49 WHIP in 14 outings. The Athletics lost two of three in St. Louis as they scored 11 runs in the series opener before putting up just two runs in the final two games. They are two games under .500 on the road, picking up +5.8 units compared to 11 games under .500 on the road. We are backing Mason Barnett who is coming off a rough Major League debut as he allowed five runs over four innings at home against Texas. He is the No. 9 prospect in the system so you cannot give up on him yet and we will back a bounce back opportunity here.
