Joe D’Amico’s SUNDAY FREE WINNER
The Texas Rangers are starting to make a run at the American League West. Winners of four in a row, and eight of their last 10, the team is just 5.5-games back in the division, and 2.5 games back of a Wildcard opportunity. They face an Athletics opponent they have dominated, taking five straight meetings this season alone. This does include Games 1 and 2 of this series by a combined score of 14-5. Despite dropping both games thus far this series, the Athletics have played some good baseball of late. However, their division rival, Rangers are their kryptonite. Jacob deGrom is 10-6 with a 2.79 ERA on the campaign. But has gone winless and his last five turns. He has done quite well this season on the road, sporting a 4-2 record with a 3.46 ERA as a visitor, and against Athletics in 2025, he is 2-1 with a 1.56 ERA in three starts against them. Overall, in his career against them, he’s a very respectable 3-1 with a 2.96 ERA. As far as the Athletics go, they have JT Ginn on the mound. He is 2-5 with a 4.96 ERA on the campaign. He is also winless over his last five outings, going 0-3 with a 7.17 ERA during that span. Facing Texas this season in two outings, he has a 4.15 ERA, and has yet to earn a decision. He did beat them last season. But this is a very different situation right now. The Rangers are starting to stride, and want not just a Wildcard spot, but even more, to earn the top spot in the American League West. Take Texas on the MONEY LINE. Thank you.
