Friday MLB Free Winner (911) New York Yankees vs. (912) Baltimore Orioles
Cream rises to the top, especially in baseball. New York is chuck full of talent, and one thing for sure, when they start scoring runs, this team starts winning with authority. They have won six of their last eight games, which doesn’t include yesterday’s series-opener by a score of 7-0. During those six victories, they have accounted for a combined 45 runs scored. They have gotten the better of their American League rival, Baltimore recently, taking three in a row over them. The Orioles haven’t played bad baseball. As a matter fact they played pretty decent ball recently. They have won six of their 10 overall outings. However, they have been doing it with pitching. They’re hitting has been downright awful. Over the last 10 games, they have scored three runs or less eight times. The surging Yankees lineup is just going to be too much for them in this matchup. Will Warren and Trevor Rogers are scheduled. There is no question the Baltimore left-hander has been more consistent, and has overall better numbers than the New York right-hander. But I don’t think today’s matchup is about how good a pitcher is. I believe it’s about how strong the lineups are. And there is no comparing the erratic Orioles lineup to the explosive Yankees offense. New York wins this game hands-down. Take the Yankees. Thank you.
Pick: New York Yankees -122
