Edmonton -130
Edmonton is trending up and Toronto is trending down. These appear to be two teams starting to go in opposite directions. The Argos scored 42 points last week but still lost 46-42 to the Ottawa Redblacks in a truly brutal loss after being ahead 22-1 early in that football game. Their defense is in complete and utter shambles right now and it won’t get easier against a resurgent Edmonton Elks team with Cody Fajardo at QB who finally got his first straight up win of the season last week in Montreal and the Elks are now 3-0 ATS with Fajardo under center since he replaced Tre Ford at QB. The Edmonton defense is certainly not great but it has gotten better with two solid performances in two of their last three games holding Saskatchewan to just 21 points and Montreal to only 22 points in their win last week. Both teams are better on offense than on defense this season but the Elks defense is at least showing signs of improvement while the Argos defense does not appear to be getting any better. Edmonton is cheap at a near pick em price here with the Elks laying less than a FG at home against Toronto.
