The #14 Oklahoma Sooners hit the road after a tough 23-6 loss to Texas, where QB John Mateer, just 17 days removed from thumb surgery, threw three interceptions and clearly wasn’t at full strength.

South Carolina, meanwhile, comes off a 20-10 loss to LSU, their third defeat in four games, and made changes on the staff, with Shane Beamer firing OL coach Lonnie Teasley and bringing in Shawn Elliott.

Don’t forget, the Gamecocks hammered Oklahoma 35-9 last year, and this time they get the revenge-minded Sooners at home. Still, with Mateer possibly not 100% and the Gamecocks usually tough in Columbia, we see this one being tighter than the line suggests.
