The Gamecocks are a team that really wants to run the ball and control the tempo. But the Blue Raiders’ rush defense has really stepped up in the last couple of games, giving up 2.6 ypc to Mo St and 2.2 ypc to Delaware. Yes, they still lost both of those games, by 2 to the Bears and 3 to the Blue Hens, but still beat the spread in both games. Mid Tenn is a team that likes to throw the ball,  and the Cocks do not have a great pass defense. I think they’ve got enough of both sides of the ball to keep this one close.
