This is a play on the MURRAY ST. RACERS for our Tuesday Free Play. Murray St. is coming off a disappointing season last year as it finished in seventh place in the MVC for a third straight season and the program parted ways with head coach Steve Prohm and hired Ryan Miller, an assistant at Creighton who was mostly responsible for the Blue Jays efficient offense that finished No. 2 in Two-Point Percentage and No. 17 in Effective Field Goal Percentage. The Racers are already showing the progress and they are running while playing solid defense. One of their two wins was against reigning Summit League champion Omaha who is projected to win it again. SMU is also 2-0 with a nice win over Tarleton St. but it did struggle with Texas A&M Corpus Christi and the Mustangs failed to cover either of those as favorites in the low 20s. SMU finished tied for fifth in the ACC and is projected No. 7 and while the Mustangs have three starters back, there is a concern with depth as they have seven freshmen on the roster. We feel they are overvalued again with this number and going back, the Mustangs are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games in the second of consecutive home games. Play (641) Murray St. Racers
