I am on the Bronx Bombers to even their series with the Red Sox. The Boston Red Sox took game one against the Yankees behind a great outing from Crochet and made it through a wild ninth, when the Yankees loaded the bases with no outs but couldn’t score a run. During the regular season, the Red Sox won nine of the thirteen games between the two. Brayan Bello makes the start for Boston as they try to close out the series. He went 11-9 with a 3.35 ERA and a 1.236 WHIP during the regular season. In his last three starts, Bello is 0-3 with a 5.79 ERA, a 1.50 WHIP, in 14 innings of work. The Yankees were strong down the stretch, winning 11 of their last 12, including eight in a row. New York will send Carlos Rodon to the mound. He went 18-9 with a 3.09 ERA, a 1.049 WHIP, and 203 strikeouts in 189.1 innings. The Yankees have an advantage on the mound in this one. Rodon won his final two starts and seven of his final nine. Bello went 1-3 in his last six starts, losing his final three starts. The Yankees were 50-31 at home this season. It is a higher line, but I believe scared money doesn’t make money.
