The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are the better of these two teams and find themselves in a very good bounce back situation coming off a horrendous 40-3 blowout loss on the road to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last week. It was an “everything that could go wrong did go wrong” game for Hamilton as the offense could not gain any traction and the defense was picked apart. Hamilton still controls their own destiny for 1st Place in the East Division and should be primed for a much better performance here against a fading Toronto Argonauts squad. Toronto saw their faint playoff hopes take another big hit last week in their 27-22 road loss against the BC Lions. Hamilton’s offense is primed to bounce back led by QB Bo Levi Mitchell and they should do their usual damage against Toronto’s bottom tier defense with the Ticats scoring 35 and 51 points in the two previous meetings against the Argos this season. Hamilton is 4-1 SU and ATS in the last 5 meetings in this division rivalry series including a perfect 2-0 SU and ATS in Toronto when the Ticats have made the trip down the QEW to face the Argos. I’ll bet Hamilton on the ML to get back on track with a win on Saturday afternoon in this game and keep their push for an East Division title going.
