I think we have a live underdog tonight in the NHL On TNT clash between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Colorado Avalanche. The Lightning have shaken off a rough start to the season by winning five straight games entering tonight. Tampa Bay has seen an uptick offensively during the win streak but they’ve also locked things down at the defensive end of the ice allowing 2 goals or less in four straight games. Tampa Bay has dominated this series in recent meetings going 5-1 in the last 6 games against Colorado including a season sweep of the Avs last year. Andrei Vasilevsky in particular has a terrific track record against Colorado of late going 5-1 with a 2.15 GAA against them. This is a solid price tag to back the surging Lightning as an underdog.
