NHL – FREE PLAY: Capitals (29) vs. Canadiens (30)

Currently running on a 32-14 NHL run! Nice little 1-0 Wednesday on NHL premium plays. Big Thursday card and this is one of my favorite picks!

The MTL Canadians are running a 9-1-1 to the over in their last 11 games. One game has failed to get to 6, it stopped at 5. That is quite a streak + after losing 4 in a row, I expect them to come out hot at home with urgency to score early. They are taking on a Caps team that traveled in from DC late last night after the back to back. They smoked the Oilers 7-4. Their offensively rolling and struggling defensively a little bit as of late, which just screams over. Not to mention the Caps have confirmed Lindgren is in net for this one. That’s a big factor for me as Lindgren’s last start, he held LA to 1 goal on 31 shots. Prior to that, 4,3,7,4 goals given up the previous 4.

Series history shows only 6 of the last 10 getting to 6 or more. However, the last 4 at the Bell Centre, you’ve got 7,9,6,7 goals respectively. Goals galore when these two teams meet north of the boarder. Don’t overthink this one, Over 6 is the play here. Cheers to goals EARLY and Often! Good luck!
