Buffalo vs Minnesota
Take: Buffalo +17.5 (Consensus)
Quarterback Ta’Quan Roberson, with previous Power Five experience, finally has an opportunity to put together the season he’s been waiting for. He’ll have two of the league’s top skill-position players at his disposal, along with elite protection from guard Tyler Doty and tackle Henry Tabansi—two of the best offensive linemen in the MAC.
Defensively, the Bulls are strong at linebacker, and defensive end Kobe Stewart is coming off a standout season with 40 tackles and 9.5 sacks.
Minnesota still boasts more overall talent, but quarterback is its least experienced position. With the odds stacked against them and a rare primetime showcase on FS1, Buffalo +17.5 is the side to back as a big underdog.
