This is a play on the CAROLINA PANTHERS for our Sunday Free Play. Atlanta blew its season opener against Tampa Bay as it allowed a late Buccaneers touchdown and then missed a field goal to send the game into overtime. The Falcons recovered to go to Minnesota and win last Sunday night but they were not overly impressive in doing so as they had to settle for five field goals and the 326 total yardage was not imposing either. They are back on the road again and came in as the obvious favorite but we are seeing an overaggressive line move for no reason other than a fade of Carolina. The Panthers are 0-2 with both losses coming on the road and while the offense struggled, the defense has not been horrible as they have allowed 335.5 ypg and are No. 18 in Success Rate. Carolina has been the sixth unluckiest team in the league through the first two weeks despite a small sample size and with the winless start, they are another team being helped by overreactions as it is another fit here as 0-2 underdogs are 41-21-1 ATS (65.6 percent) since 2010. Here, we play against road teams in conference games off an upset win by 14 points or more as an underdog. This situation is 55-16 (77.5 percent) since 2016 and this is the straight up record.
