This is a play on the CALIFORNIA GOLDEN BEARS for a Saturday Free Play. Duke is coming off a win at Syracuse last week that ended up being easier than expected as the Blue Devils faced a team faced an Orange team at the right time. They were without their starting quarterback and fresh off a huge upset win at Clemson so it had letdown written all over it. Duke now has to head west for the first time in the ACC as it avoided the California trip last season and this is its first time on the west coast since 2012 when it went to Stanford. California is also coming off a win out east as it had a last minute win over Boston College as the Eagles were driving for the winning touchdown but threw an interception at the California goal line. The Golden Bears are now 4-1 with the lone blemish coming at San Diego St. in a weird 34-0 loss the prior week. We saw this similar situation three weeks ago when Minnesota came in for the long travel spot as a road favorite and California won by 13 points. The Golden Bears are 6-0 ATS after a two-game roadtrip under head coach Justin Wilcox.
