I SWEPT THE BOARD MONDAY NIGHT GOING 4-0 (2-0 NHL, 1-0 NFL, 1-0 MLB). I have won L4 NHL plays, hitting 80% so far this season. Tonight, we continue to MELT THE ICE in the NHL with my 3-0 POWER PLAY. Join me as we stay perfect this week.
It’s true, Toronto has had their way with New Jersey, taking seven of the last 10 meetings over the last 2 1/2 years. But they do enter this matchup off of a loss at home, where they are just 3-1-1 so far this season. There is no denying that have explosive offense, ranking in the top five in the NHL, accounting for over 3.7 goals per game. But their defense leaves a lot to be desired. New Jersey comes into tonight’s game, red-hot, winning four in a row. As a matter fact, they lost their series opener on the road at Carolina, only to win the next two games both on the road at Tampa Bay and Columbus, before winning back-to-back games at home against Florida and Edmonton. They are playing some very good hockey, my friends. Very quietly, this team, believe it or not ranks fourth in the NHL in scoring, accounted for over 3.8 goals per game. Also, on the defensive side of the ice, they are yielding less goals per game than their opponent as well. This early in the season, I feel momentum has a lot to do with a team’s success. And right now, with the Devils riding one of the hottest hot streaks, I feel they have the momentum to carry them into another road victory. Take New Jersey. Thank you.
