We’re already at last call to get the Hurricanes at plus-money on the puckline, and puck drop is 26+ hours away. This is understandable, considering Carolina has played up to their high expectations through two games, while the Sharks let two points slip away in their first two games due to sloppy play late in both Overtime losses. Sometimes a team in the Sharks position could be a dangerous bounce-back candidate, but I don’t see that happening against a strong team like the Hurricanes. We don’t know who the goalies are yet for this match-up, but no matter who is between the pipes for either team, I like a comfortable Carolina victory in what is a big step down in opponent quality from what they’ve played so far.
