Most didn’t expect the Rangers to lose at home to the Penguins on opening night at MSG, let alone get shutout by Arturs Silovs. A road game against the Sabres is a fantastic bounce back spot for the Blueshirts. Alex Lyon and a thin Buffalo blueline beyond Rasmus Dahlin doesn’t inspire any confidence that they can keep the Rangers offense down, especially when they’re looking to get going after a goose egg on Tuesday. The Sabres have some good talent, but they aren’t a good team. I’m tempted to take a swing at the Rangers puckline, where you can get +200 odds, but I’ll play it on the safe side. The Rangers should take care of business in Western New York.
