Arizona (3-0) is off to its best start since 2015 and sits just one win away from matching last season’s total. The Wildcats’ ground game has been key — Ismail Mahdi is coming off a 100-yard outing, as is Iowa State’s Carson Hansen, setting the stage for a run-heavy battle.
Defensively, Arizona has been lights out, allowing only two touchdowns all year and holding its last two opponents to under 100 passing yards. Quarterback Noah Fifita has been sharp as well, throwing for 712 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions while adding three scores on the ground.
