Pollard has been the clear RB1 for Tennessee, handling 38 carries (19 per game) through two weeks for 152 yards (4.0 YPC), including a breakout 92-yard, 20-carry effort (4.6 YPC) in Week 2’s loss to the Rams despite a struggling offense. He’s out-snapped backup Tyjae Spears in every game (averaging 18.5 touches/game) and is fully healthy with no injury concerns heading into Week 3. At home, where the Titans run 43.5% of plays, Pollard projects for 18-22 carries. Even at his season YPC, that’s 72-88 yards; his Week 2 efficiency suggests more upside. Indianapolis ranks 12th in rushing yards allowed (98 YPG) but has been vulnerable to workhorse backs, conceding the fifth-most yards after contact per attempt and ranking poorly in yards before contact (fifth-most allowed). Pollard’s combination of workload, burst (top-3 in YAC since 2020), and a Colts D that’s “mediocre” against the run sets up a bounce-back from his 0-TD start. The Titans need this win—lean on the workhorse for 80+ yards.
