Marshall at Georgia (Sat 8/31, 3:30p ET)
The 2025 College Football season kicks off “Between the Hedges” on Saturday for the Georgia Bulldogs as they host the Thundering Herd of Marshall. Georgia Head Coach Kirby Smart will look to get his club in gear for another tough schedule in the SEC. With just 11 starters returning, including QB Gunnar Stockton, the Bulldogs hope the redshirt Junior will look sharper this season compared to his action last year behind Carson Beck, who transferred to Miami-Florida.
Marshall has a completely new look to their lineup and staff after previous coach Charles Huff took a job with Southern Mississippi, and brought along over a dozen players via the Transfer Portal. New HC Tony Gibson has brought in 62 new players, and two coordinators implementing new schemes, there could be some serious growing pains for the defending Sun Belt Conference champions.
Georgia will be eager to show that their offense is ready for big-time action, and when you look at games where a FBS team is favored by 37+ points against another FBS club, the total is 15-5-1 to the Over (and 19-2 vs the Spread!)
