USF has been a team I’ve been hyping all season, and if you watch my shows or videos, you know I’m all in on the Bulls! They flew under the radar in Weeks 1 and 2, but after their stunning upset over Florida last week, nobody’s sleeping on them now. However, this week, they face a motivated Miami squad that’s looking to send a message. With Florida on Miami’s schedule next, the Hurricanes have extra incentive to show the Gators how to dominate a team like USF.USF’s offense has relied heavily on explosive, long-yardage plays to score touchdowns. The problem? Miami’s defense is built to shut down big plays, which could spell trouble for the Bulls’ game plan. On the other side, USF’s defense will struggle to get pressure on Miami’s quarterback, as the Hurricanes’ offensive line is far superior to any USF has faced this season. I didn’t see the Bulls upsetting Florida, but I believe Miami will come prepared and leave no doubt. That said, there’s a slight concern about a backdoor cover if USF keeps it close late. To play it safe, I’m locking in Miami in the first half, where they can establish dominance early and avoid letting USF hang around.
